What Is a C-PAP Machine?
In this video, Viviana Cabrera, our office manager, explains C-PAP machines and why they are a commonly used treatment option for sleep apnea.
The Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) device employs a tubing system attached to a mask that the patient wears. It functions by continuously pushing air through the tubing and into the patient’s nose, actively maintaining consistent breathing throughout the night. This ensures that the airways remain open, preventing interruptions in breathing that can occur during sleep.
